Who are we and what do we do?

Oochi represents a small but thriving collection of brands, all of which are innovative, distinctive and high-quality.

The story begins with P8N8 Bio Energized Oxygen, a high-performance skincare range for men and women who insist on their skin being in the rudest of health - "a balanced diet for your skin" is how we describe it. Chock-full of nutritious ingredients, P8N8 is also one of a select few ranges to contain oxygen within the formulation, resulting in a level of performance that few other brands can match. The "oo" in Oochi derives from 02, the chemical name for oxygen.

To this, we add FirstBIKE. Certainly a very different product, but one that is true to our values - innovation, distinction and quality.

Into this eclectic mix, we also throw "Palulu" (Hawaiian for "windbreak"), our play-house on the beach in Dorset. We've enjoyed many fun-filled weekends here but our work commitments no longer allow for such frivolity. It's a shame to waste it, though, so we now invite others to sample the good life. Just a stone's throw from the sea and a short walk from town, we'll even be able to watch Olympic sailing from our own balcony in 2012!

Oochi is managed by David, who looks after INSTEAD and FirstBIKE, and Risë, who takes care of P8N8 and Palulu.

David, an aero-engineer turned software engineer, was encouraged by Risë to quit the rat-race and he now thrives on the challenges of running a growing business. Sadly the multitude of other activities (watersports, snowboarding, cycling etc.) have had to take a back seat for the time being.

Risë, originally from Chicago, came to the UK for a couple of years. Now, over ten years later, she continues to grow roots and has little chance of escape!
